This course is considered one of the most important and prominent contemporary courses that are compatible with the nature of technological changes in the digital age; as this course is concerned with the mechanisms of analyzing public opinion in virtual reality and via social networks, and how to analyze big data via social media and digital media with hypertext.

Providing students with the necessary skills and knowledge about the methods of creating virtual public opinion, how to deal with big data via social media sites, how to measure it, and the mechanism of extracting big data and how to analyze it.

AI Journalism- Immersive journalism

This course deals with artificial intelligence technologies, their applications and uses in journalism and its various forms. It also focuses on immersive journalism as a form of three-dimensional electronic journalistic stories through which the recipient lives immersed and immersed in the events of the story and experiences it from all sides. Therefore, it is called immersive because he becomes a part of it, which is what the course seeks to achieve by providing the learner with the necessary skills to produce immersive journalistic content according to 360 technology.

Through this course, the student learns about the concept of storytelling, the elements of digital storytelling, and the standards of digital storytelling, in addition to the methods and styles of digital storytelling.

By the end of the course, the student will be able to direct his skills in adapting the text, scenario and digital components when working within a team to produce stories with digital and interactive content.

Graduation Project

This course represents the natural translation of what the student has studied during his enrollment in the program; as this course aims to apply and implement the knowledge and skills that the student has acquired during his study of the specialized courses previous to the graduation project, in implementing a research project with an innovative creative idea individually or within a work team, until the project is completed in its final form.

Outcomes:

Under this project, the student submits a scientific research that represents a master’s thesis in his field of specialization (digital journalism and artificial intelligence) according to sound scientific methodological rules and foundations and under the supervision of a specialized professor.
